The film follows Sticky, a 17-year-old foster kid, who overcomes challenges thanks to basketball, inner strength and mentors.
Book author Matt De La Pena and director Brin Hill collaborated on the script. Hill had filming rights to the book before it was published. De La Pena knows something about hoops. He played basketball for the University of Pacific in Stockton, Calif. "Ball Don't Lie" premieres next month at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Boucher won't see the movie until then. What happens after New York is unclear as the movie is seeking a distributor. Distributor or not, the movie is generating buzz, in part because of Boucher's inspired casting. "The buzz is that ‘Ball Don't Lie' is a story about Grayson's life. I've had people come up to me and say ‘I didn't know The Professor's life was so hard.'," said Hill. "Grayson grew up living the American dream. His family owns a jewelry store. He had a great home life. He is not Sticky." The Boucher family own Boucher Jewelers on River Road in Keizer. His parents are Molly and Steve Boucher. Another reason for the buzz is a cast of hot young actors. Sharing screen time with Boucher, for example, are Harold Perrineau and Emilie De Raven of "Lost," Dania Ramirez of "Heroes," and indie favorite Rosanna Arquette. Hill knew of Boucher, 23, through his play on the Streeball tour. "Grayson's got something that people respond to," said Hill, "and I think that charisma will follow him as he pursues other acting roles. I see a kid who has the potential to be a star. He has the ability to connect with the crowd." Certain he had his Sticky, the director delivered the script in person. "Brin put the script in my hands," said Boucher. "I took it as a compliment that he wanted me." This special delivery took place two years before filming actually began. They kept in touch over the interim. "I was surprised that a director reached out and wanted me to play the lead role in a movie," said Boucher. "It's such an amazing opportunity." Filming for "Ball Don't Lie" revolved around Boucher's other commitments. These commitments left cast and crew with a small window of opportunity. "We shot 15 to 17 hours each day, for 25 days straight," said Boucher. "Being in a lead role is more of a grind than people think. But it was also a lot of fun. It provided me with some great memories." Boucher is no stranger to the big screen. In "Semi Pro," the popular comedy starring Will Ferrell and Woody Harrelson, the former Keizerite is a member of the Spurs. Although on screen for five minutes, Boucher has no dialogue. "I don't think it's that big of a deal, or that big of a story, that I was in ‘Semi Pro' because I'm barely in it, and it's such a minor role compared to having the lead role." Dania attended yet another fashion show. This time sporting a stylish new haircut. And a sexy white and pink mini dress. I think the new haircut really works for her.

Dania attended another fashion show. But this time she went with her friend Kelis and not Jessey. Dania looked awesome in her purple dress and with her matching hair band and eye make-up. Take a look already- but I might also add some more images later.

Dania and Jessey attended the Julia Clancey - MBFW Fall 2008 fashion show and let me tell you: it was worth the wait. Dania looked incredibly gorgeous in her pretty dress.
